Sworn Translation

Translations prepared by translators sworn before a notary public, valid at official institutions and consulates.

A sworn translation requires the translator who signs it to have taken an oath before a notary public. This signature and stamp are the precondition for the document to be processed by official institutions. Identity cards and passports, birth and marriage certificates, criminal record extracts, diplomas and transcripts, powers of attorney, trade registry documents and court rulings are the most frequently requested document types. Your document is assigned to a translator sworn in the relevant language pair. Once the translation is complete, a second translator checks it against the source for names, dates, numbers and official wording; any inconsistencies caught at this stage are resolved before delivery. Which institution requires which format varies. If you tell us where you will submit your document, we prepare it in the layout that institution expects.
